Pacific Adventist University Library’s Periodical section collects and manages periodical materials. Periodicals are magazines, scholarly journals, newspapers, and newsletters. They are publications that are published at regular intervals. Daily newspapers, weekly magazines, and quarterly journals are all periodicals.
Periodical articles are often the best sources for research, especially if your topic requires recent information, information on a specific topic or information on local issues.

Why Use Periodicals?
Periodicals cover events more quickly and concisely than books. Books are usually better at giving thoughtful, historical information. Magazines and newspapers provide current, focused information, and specialized magazines and journals provide in-depth coverage.
What subject areas of Periodicals?
Subjects held in the periodicals ranges from Generals, Religious studies, Theology, Business, Accounting, Economics, Science, Mathematics, Biology, Physics, History, Geography. Health Science, Natural and Physical Science, Literature, Arts, etc.
