
“Making a Difference with God” was the theme of the 2011 Pacific Adventist University graduation of 119 students on Sunday 27th November 2011. Prime Minister, Hon Peter O’Neil, guest of honour, addressed the graduands, reiterating the importance of education in the process of nation-building and affirming his tangible support for the educational opportunities that institutions like PAU provide.
Of the 119 graduates, 37 graduated from the school of business with qualifications in accounting, management, computing and office administration; 25 graduated with a Bachelor of Education (Secondary); 21 with a Bachelor of Nursing; 9 with a Bachelor of Midwifery; 6 with a Bachelor of Science (all female); 19 with a Bachelor of Arts in Theology, including 1 who had completed his degree at the Fulton Campus, Fiji; 1 with a Diploma in Theology; and two masters students, one with a Master of Arts in Pastoral Ministry and the other with a research degree, Master of Theology.
Family members had travelled from across the nation and the region, with one aunty travelling from as far afield as the USA, to witness the occasion.
