Diploma in Theology
Course Overview
Primarily designed to train people for ministry in the Seventh day Adventist church, the course includes biblical and theological studies as well as practical ministry and auxiliary academic subjects.
Who should do this course?
This course will develop your desire to be a minister, an interest in the Bible, a love of people and good leadership skills.
Practical Experience
Successful graduates will complete as part of this course, as their practical experience a four weeks field experience over the three years of their studies. Further experience are gained by taking part in the weekly spiritual/religious services of the college throughout their studies when not at practicum or holidays.

Professional Recognition
Ministerial Credentials offered by the Seventh day Adventist Church.
Recognised nationally and internationally as an entry qualification for honours and/or Masters level studies.
Career Opportunities
Examples include ministry, chaplaincy, social welfare, foreign aid and charity organisations; religious education teaching; youth ministry, church pastors, roles in humanitarian agencies, healthcare work, welfare, and religious teaching in schools and other educational organisations.
Entry Requirements
High school leavers
GPA or equivalent: Minimum 2.20
Maths B or equivalent – Pass
Non School Leavers
Study undertaken at other institutions may be considered as a basis for enrolment. And must have scored an equivalent GPA of 2.20 from recognized institutions in the country
Further Study Options
Students who have completed successfully the course typically have the opportunity to pursue advanced studies in a number of different fields. Graduates who choose to pursue further studies would typically engage in masters or other postgraduate courses at PAU or other institutions.
