Course Overview
This degree provides students with broad exposure to the accounting field, including government accounting and accounting theory.

Practical Experience
Four weeks of practical workplace experience in the middle of the third and fourth year of the Bachelor of Business degree.

Examples include government service, consultancies, major financial institutions such as banks and insurance companies, and business enterprises. CPA, professional actuarial consultancies, financial advisers to governments and commercial organisations such as life, general and health insurance companies, superannuation and pension funds, investment companies, banks and stockbrokers, financial planning, funds management, insurance, investment consultancies, merchant and general banking, public finance and government, security analysis and stockbroking, auditing, investigative accounting, financial advising or taxation; work in the accounting field in the private sector in both large and small organisations and in the public sector and not-for-profit sectors, accountant, auditor, business adviser, finance consultant, insolvency and taxation consultant.
