Courses Offered

PAU is committed to providing higher education which empowers graduates to serve not only the church but also the wider community through employment in government, private and NGO sectors throughout the Pacific. At PAU education is aimed at balanced spiritual, social, mental and physical development of men and women who are destined to be leaders of tomorrow.


The University offers undergraduate and postgraduate study in:

  • Arts and Humanities (English, Arts, Music, Geography, History)  
  • Business (Accounting, Computing, Management)
  • Education (Secondary or Primary)
  • Leadership & Development
  • Nursing
  • Midwifery
  • Science and Technology (Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Mathematics, Physics)
  • Theology

Undergraduate courses are typically offered in semester mode (2 semesters per year), while some postgraduate courses are offered in intensive mode (either year-end or mid-year). The academic year in semester mode begins early March and runs through to late November, culminating in the annual graduation ceremony.
